Product Return & Refund Policy

1. Return Eligibility

Byson Engineering accepts return requests strictly under limited and pre-approved conditions:

• Return requests must be made within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.

• Returned items must be 100% unused, in original, resalable condition, and include all original packaging, accessories, documentation, and proof of purchase.

• Custom-engineered, special-order, or modified products are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.

• Products damaged due to incorrect handling, poor installation, or misuse will not be accepted.

• Byson Engineering reserves the sole discretion to determine return eligibility after full inspection.

2. Return Authorization Process

• All returns must be pre-authorized. Customers must contact us within 14 days at:

• If the return is approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions will be issued.

• Returns without an RMA number will be automatically rejected.

3. Return Shipping & Buyer Responsibility

• Return shipping costs, including duties, taxes, insurance, and any incidental fees, are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

• Returned items must be shipped within 7 days of receiving the RMA.

• Customers must use reliable, trackable shipping services. Byson Engineering assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, or damaged returns in transit.

• If the return is found to be unjustified, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense.

4. Product Inspection & Restocking Fee

All returned goods will undergo a thorough inspection. Byson Engineering reserves the right to:

• Reject returns that do not meet the stated requirements (e.g. used, incomplete, damaged).

• Apply a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item value for approved returns.

• Deduct costs for missing parts, cleaning, repacking, or restoration before any refund is issued.

5. Refund Processing

Byson Engineering does not offer cash refunds except in cases of manufacturing defects or errors caused by our team. In most cases, customers are eligible for product replacement or exchange only, subject to the following:

• If a return is approved, the customer may choose to:

  • Replace the item with the same product (if defective or damaged), or

  • Exchange it for a different product of equal or higher value (with payment of the price difference).

• No cash refunds will be issued for change-of-mind returns or for items exchanged under non-defective conditions.

• Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable in all circumstances.

• If a full refund is exceptionally approved (e.g. item is out of stock and no replacement is possible), it will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

• Claims for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items must be submitted within 3 days of delivery, with clear photos and a full description of the issue.

• If verified, Byson Engineering will cover return shipping costs and offer either a replacement, repair, or full refund, at our discretion.

• Claims filed after the 3-day window or lacking evidence will not be considered valid.

7. Exchanges

We support exchanges for product replacements only, under the following conditions:

• The item must be eligible for return (unused, in original condition, and within the return period).

• The customer may request a replacement with a different product, provided:

  • The value of the new item is equal to or higher than the original item.

  • Any price difference must be paid by the customer in advance.

• Exchanges are subject to stock availability and require approval through our RMA process.

• Byson Engineering reserves the right to reject exchange requests that do not meet our product return conditions.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

• Custom-manufactured or modified products

• Clearance or discounted items

• Products damaged post-delivery by buyer negligence or mishandling

9. Cancellations & Order Modifications

• Orders not yet shipped may be cancelled by contacting us immediately.

• A full refund will be issued only if cancellation is confirmed before dispatch.

• Once shipped, the standard return process applies. No cancellation is possible after shipping.

10. Policy Enforcement & Updates

Byson Engineering reserves full rights to:

• Refuse returns that do not meet the above requirements

• Modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice

• Reject claims deemed fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant

11. All costs associated with returns and exchanges—including but not limited to shipping fees, insurance, taxes, handling charges, and any related third-party costs—shall be fully borne by the purchaser/customer, unless otherwise stated in writing by Byson Engineering. This applies to:

• Voluntary returns and exchanges (e.g. change of product, incorrect ordering)

• Approved replacements due to buyer installation error or misuse

• Rejected or non-compliant returns that must be shipped back to the customer

Byson Engineering will only bear costs for returns in cases of verified manufacturing defects or delivery errors caused by us.

12. International Return & Exchange Policy

Byson Engineering accepts international returns and exchanges only under strict, pre-approved conditions, and reserves full discretion in determining eligibility. Due to the complexities and risks associated with cross-border logistics, the following terms apply:

• All international return and exchange requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery and are subject to case-by-case approval.

• Products must be unused, in original packaging, and include all original accessories, documents, and proof of purchase.

• No international returns will be accepted without a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by Byson Engineering.

• All international shipping costs, including freight charges, duties, customs taxes, handling fees, and return insurance, are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.

• Byson Engineering is not responsible for delays, losses, damages, or customs issues encountered during international return transit.

• In the event of a verified product defect or shipment error caused by Byson, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement or partial store credit toward a future purchase. No cash refunds will be issued for international orders.

• Exchanges will only be processed once the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved at our facility in Malaysia.

Customers outside Malaysia are advised to carefully review product specifications and consult with our support team before placing an order to avoid unnecessary returns or rejections.

13. Taxes & Duties

All prices listed on www.bysonengineering.com.my are exclusive of taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Applicable sales tax, service tax (SST), import/export duties, customs charges, and any other government-imposed levies are not included in the product prices displayed on the website.

• These charges, where applicable, will be calculated and added during checkout or invoiced separately.

• International customers are solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs clearance charges in their respective countries.

• By placing an order, the customer agrees to bear full responsibility for these costs.
